    Hi folks.

This d/w is actually still under warranty, but my customer is trying to talk me into repairing it for her.

She had a glass break in the d/w, and since then it makes a droning noise when the circulation pump is running and the little “brush” symbol comes on.

It pumps, fills and circulates ok. I guess that the droning noise is fan blade broken on the “heat pump”, but what is the brush symbol telling me? (I can reset and clear the symbol but it comes back again).

Is changing the motor a “tank off” job or is it accessable from underneath?

    Thanks in anticipation,

    Regards,

    Mike

Don’t touch it!….Get Siemens to sort it….ruddy heatpump on this jobby……can be costly both to you and/or your customer….I would suggest the latter…………you have been warned! 😉

Its a piece of cake to do a heat pump.!!!!

right side panel off, Door skin off, Plinth off.
Cut factory cir clip off, Disconnect wires [obviously!!] pull motor out!!

To halves come apart easily. You will need a thin cir clip to reassemble.

Once you have done a few 20min start to finish 😉
