A friend of mine in a neighbouring unit wanted his washer fixed. As usual, he said he’d bring it to me (New dispenser needed). Yesterday, he’d taken it off the van, left it outside his unit behind his van, went in to open the shutters but the phone rang so he spent 5mins on the phone…

Anyways, he opens the shutters… Washer gone! 😯

Turns out the ‘Scrap Collectors’ (To be PC) had pulled up & chucked it on the back of their flatbed!!!

New sale for me, but you got to laugh! 😆

The missus stopped them at the end of our driveway last year, let himself in through the big gate, to help himself to my scrap pile. Luckily she saw him and gestured him to ‘go forth and multiply’ as she put it . Bigger, higher gate with a lock now….I caught them a few weeks ago hanging out the passenger door of his van trying to see over the top of it 😆

Thought those vans were just plain white with a dog in the passengers seat. 😉

When I lived in London our neighbour had just bought a victorian fireplace it cost him a fortune. He moved it from the van put it on his drive with the help of three friends it was cast iron and very heavy. his friend went into the house he went back to his van to lock it.
He came back seconds later it was gone, nobody heard a sound or saw who took it. whoever it was must have moved at the speed of light.
