ParticipantI know its a long shot, the machine is over 25 years old, but can anybody tell me the part no, genuine or pattern, for a restraining plate for a hotpoint 9524. The chassis/suspension strengthener bar we all used to use years ago.
Its probably obsolete but I told the customer i’d try for her.
Ive had a look at all the usual places but cant find it anywhere.Cheers for your help

Got at least two in stock. Not used one for about ten years. Can send you one for cost of postage, £2.75 first class. PM/e-mail if interested.

Yeah but you’ve got millions of customers with 95 series keeping you in business 😀 .

Mike.Perhaps not millions but enough to see me through to retirement. 😉
I have changed six 1600066/1611166 drum supports in the past two weeks plus three ARM20 armatures, at least eight sets of 1600474 carbons, four 1603006 door seals, two 168260 door seals and three 1601972 pumps. 8)
The sad thing is that apart from spares becoming obsolete almost all of those machines will outlive most new Hotpoint/Indesit tat. 😥
