    Hi there

Would anyone happen to have (preferably) a parts diagram for the above washing machine (i.e. with the locations of the component parts in the machine itself)??

Failing that, would anyone happen to have pictures of the following components and/or details on their location in the appliance:

    1. Capacitor / interference suppressor
    2. Temperature sensor
    3. Selenium rectifier
    4. Heating element

I am investigating a fire which may have been caused by the above appliance, but as you may guess it’s toast. I’ve extracted the wiring loom but am trying to identify components and assess their damage, but without knowledge of their original locations in the appliance casing it’s quite difficult!!

I have downloaded the (rather sloppily translated) manual of the Haier website, which had been no real help :rolls:

I’ve searched online and found pictures of some of the major components from spare parts websites, but that obviously doesn’t tell me where on the appliance they are located!

Any help would be greatly appreciated. 😉

I don’t soil my hands on this Chinese rubbish but the mains suppressor is usually located at the exact spot the mains cable enters the cabinet.

In most modern machines the temperature sensor (NTC) is located into the heater backplate and the heater is inserted directly into the outer drum, low down either front or back.

The rectifier may be part of the main PCB. 😕

Its possible some of the trade people who do work on Haier will know better, I will ask for you. 😉

The Selenium rectifier on the Haier is positioned on the rear right corner near to where the mains lead comes in, the wires from this to the front main pcb is protected by an inline fuse. I have never seen any problems with either the boards or the selenium rectifier (part number 0020400542X) but the motors have given problems, especially the brushes which are a common problem
