    Hello,
my WD420 is going straight into final spin when any program is selected. The machine doesn’t actually spin the drum, it just rund the discharge pump for a minute then stops.

I have checked the brushes – ok.
Checked pump – clear (if a little bit noisy)
Also checked the thermal fuse in the top of the heater duct – o.k.

    Any help appreciated!

    Andy.

No lights flashing, just final spin light on and door locked light on. Pump motor runs for a minute then final spin light goes off.

    Cheers for quick reply

If you have access to a megger or suitable multimeter then the first thing to do is an insulation test on both the heater and the motor. Earth leaks on the heater often cause strange faults.

Failing that then the woeful Indesit electronics could be at fault. 😥

If you have read all of this thread then you will have seen my post above. Have you carried out any of the tests suggested in that?

Until you do so and report back it’s unlikely you will get any worthwhile replies. 😉

The OP has not returned to the thread to inform us of the outcome either. 🙁
