    Hi.

My AEG LAVATHERM 57710 stops after approx one minute i all the themperature dependent (iron dry, cupboard dry etc.) program selections. At the timer dependent program selections (20 or 40 min) it works fine.

I’ve checked the carbon brush on the rear- and the bristle brush on the top of the drum, and they seems fine. Also cleaned condenser and filters.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    ajohnson

Are you trying it with damp clothes in or not? Sensor dry programmes won’t work with an empty drum.

OMG, thanks mate! Just tried it with damp clothes and it worked fine….until the belt broke. The timer stopped at 10 min. Is the countdown stopping- or is it jumping to 10 min when belt breaks?

    Will fit new belt tomorrow.

    Cheers,

    Hello,

I hope this is the right way to ask a question here. I have a Lavatherm 57710 dryer and it suddenly stopped drying, it is working, spinning, no error message but does not dry at all, my guess is that the heating system is not working, any idea how I can check this? many thanks in advance

Well if you feel confident, have sufficient electrical knowledge and the necessary test meter I suggest you unplug the appliance then take a close look at the heater.

If you have problems with any of the above you might best seek the help of a local independent expert who could call by and take a look for you. To check if there’s one in your area simply click HERE 😀
