Fridge freezer, wanted to access the fan in the freezer compartment.
Back plate covering evaporator removed OK,but fan is connected to a seperate plate/duct fastened to the roof of the freezer by two screws, released these and the ducting complete with fan starts to come away a couple of inches but is then restricted and wont come forward, seems to be held by a wire bundle fastened to it.
Anyone experienced this, don’t want to force it.
Checked with customer again and that is the model no but also mentioned on her instructions are models HF24A and HF24C.
Partmaster have some spares listed for the HF27C.

looks like the starship enterprise???….the top housing that is??…if so, its tight, remove 2 screws and a sharp pull down at rear to loosen it..however the fan loom is strapped to a screw hlding fan…if u break it the fan will not fit without new duct!….caution required….u can push cable through from rear, or be very careful with a dumpy phillips …not easy m8
Changed fan motor OK,was just a case of losening the insulating putty around entry of cables and pulling through, felt a bit of a dumkoff for not doing that first time.
Cheers again.
