element gone but dont have the model number

    there is no model number on my candy convex oven (sticker has gone)
    I have took out the element it has 2200 watt stamped on it and its a 3 turn one

    I have seen a few i am sure would fit but they are always 2500watt
    is it safe to replace with a higher wattage one ?


    does the watt mean the 2200 and the 2500 watt give out the same heat
    but the 2500 watt uses more power to do so ?


    is there a recommended one ( don’t really wana spend much but it don’t want it to go again in a week

    Take that element to a local spares shop and chances are they can measure it up and match it from one in stock. 💡

    did do, got robbed of £28 quid

    needed the oven going today. gutted could have got it half the price
    online.

    oh well cookers going again and I just learnt my local shop is full of theiving
    barstools.
