This one does the program ok but won’t cut into spin, tried it on manual spin still the same, it tries to wind up but cuts in and out whether with a load or without with a clicking noise from the control board. Changed the board, brushes are about half worn, checked the wiring to the motor still the same.
Only thing left is the motor unless I’m missing something, has anyone come across this fault before, any help I would be greatful

Have you checked for any earth faults?
You say brushes half worn, is there carbon dust in motor tracking out?

The only other thing have you checked heater and thermisitor?

OOps. Just seen this one. Had exactly the same fault last year. wire on the motor plug (lowest one IIRC) broken in the insulation.
