    I have been given the above Microwave to repair. It requires a new inner dor glass.

    Looking at the exploding diagram there is the inner door frame (Pt No 528949 (item 9)) and the door gasket Pt No 528950 (item 10)). The door gasket in the drawing is missing from the Oven door.

    Does this gasket or the door inner frame function as the choke (seal) on this oven? Or is the gasket only to prevent dirt getting behind the door inner frame?
