    Top oven has a combined oven/grill element. Grill part of element was not working so replaced using new element purchased from UK whitegoods. Still only got outer oven part of element working but not grill part of element. Both the knob for the oven/grill selection and the knob for grill temperature control light up when used but the grill part of element still not working. What is likely fault? Is it a switch or thermostat? Advice greatly appreciated as do not want to end up replacing more than one more part.

    Hi: You could have 1 of Several things wrong, Faulty Thermal cutout, faulty control etc. Without actually seeing the oven it’s difficult to say.
    Why did you replace the Element? did you check it with either a Multimeter or Megger first to see if it was faulty?
