Hi Guys,
The 1607 service manual is now available in the ISE10 washers info post, sticky at the top of this forum, in a PDF format so you can use it on your phones or whatever.
Watch a couple of things, the three lines in the display is an unbalanced load as it aborts after ten attempts to sort if. This also means that the wash time can be extended considerably as the machine tries to sort out dodgy loads. I’ve had a couple of people on about it and the display changing to one minute etc. then it continues as it should, this is why.
Any and, I do mean ANY errors of unexplained whatnots happening should be preceded by a total reset of the machine and the customer can do this themselves. The reason is that, if they play with buttons and somehow manage to get it into programming mode, they can lock functions and all sorts of oddball things, to reset is easy but not easy to find in the book, the procedure is:
TOTAL RESET
TURN OFF POWER (Mains power button)
WAIT FOR AT LEAST 5 SEC
HOLD DOOR OPENING BUTTON (APPROX 20 SEC)
TURN ON POWER (Mains power button)
This returns the board to a virgin factory condition.
Do not replace a PCB without doing this first and then testing please as the failure rate on the boards is minuscule and it’s usually not a PCB problem.
HTH
