if i am not successfull in repairing by lovely silver zanussi 50/50 tall fridge freezer and being fed up with auto defrost problems are there any manual defrost models still being made ?.

Hi
Beko, Bosch, Hotpoint and Zanussi among others still produce non frost free fridge freezers so you will have plenty of choice.
Don’t forget to measure the space you have availabe as contrary to popular belief they are not all the same size.
