I bought replacement bearing via this site in July and up till the other week the washing machine has been quiet, now it sounds like the bearings have gone again as its very noisy on spinning.
The bearing on the spider was fine so we just replaced the drum bearings and fitted a new drum seal.
Is it best to replace the lot or try to grease them up?

The former the ideal the latter merely gives you a month or two more between bearing kit replacements. 🙁

thank you I thought that might be the case, but if they are going to go every 8 months and the washing machine is over 15 years old I might just get a new one

    Good choice!

Tip: Don’t buy a Zanussi replacement. 😥 (Ask Quickwash which one to choose though. :D)

💡 If you purchase one of the fantastic ISE10’s on the left of the screen you wont be replacing the bearings for a few years! 😀

It is a superb machine, by the way, and i dont think you will buy anything better for the money IMHO.

    Best wishes
