Whirlpool 6th sense T/D (AWZ8577)

S/N 857585715070.

I was called to this T/D with the customer complaining the ‘clean filter’ light keeps lighting up during a cycle. I cleaned the filters with soapy water and removed/cleaned the heat exchange box.

The machine heats and dry’s fine. The water pumping system is also fine, the air flow out of the machine is hot and strong.

Any ideas why the ‘clean filter’ light keeps lighting? presumably there is a sensor that decides when this lights up?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
