This machine trips on spin only after doing a complete wash !

It won’t trip when I put it on just a spin ! Any ideas (changed mains filter).

    Thanks

How about checking the dryer components for an earth leakage?

It will probably be a Siltal machine (CI993?), the timer switches the to dryer element for a split sec when the program finishes which is enough to trip the RCD, you will prob find the dryer element has a grove worn into it creating the short.

why will it probably be a siltal? plus your assuming its a timer programmer. yet majority of the cda washer dryers are fully electronic as they are only a young brand…

im not saying your wrong but if O.P. followed forum guidelines about providing more specific info such as a model no, the chance is they would have recieved more responses by the regulars by now.

I work for CDA as an engineer and i know the Siltal CI993 machines switch to the dryer at the end of the cycle, they will work perfectly in the rest of the cycle, the electronic ones wouldn’t normally act in this way. I did say probably though and not definatly.

Sorry could not find any model number on the machine, but I shall be going back soon. It has a mechanical timer !
