Unless you have the hardware key there is no ‘test’ routine, and unless you have a laptop with EMIT or whatever software that the company engineers etc have then that is no different to the fault codes displayed by the flashing lights anyhow. 😥

There was a thread on the Hardware Key floating about somewhere? Since this new site upgrade searching is not an option right now though. But I think the conclusion toward the whole idea of Hardware Keys/Low & High End Adapters for indies without those Indesit Laptops was a complete waste of time.
I hold fast the flashing lights and error codes diagnostic principals open to me right now without such additional hardware tosh. But for the more difficult diagnostics I have started to use either a ‘divining rod’ or sit down at the kitchen table with the customer, take tea and then read the tealeaves in the bottom of the cup. If I get a recall, I resort to the Tarot Cards.
It works for me……
