I need to replace the component to the bottom right hand side of the board. The original fault was a blown door lock which has caused damage to this component. I know that these can be transplanted from donor boards but alas I have no donor boards. So does anybody know what this component is and where I can get one. I know I can get a replacement board from EMW but my customer doesn’t want to spend that sort of money on an old machine.

There are many an varied WMA’s so to which exact model do you refer?

You’re probably talking of a blown triac and likely as not the track has blown. Perhaps if you download a photo of the board we can take a closer look. But TBH the EMW option is best favoured and if your customer can’t stump up that sort of money then it’s hardly worth all the hassle you’re gonna bring upon yourself, is it? :rolls:
