h/pt bf41 start button

can anyone tell me whether start button should stay depressed on this d/washer when in use.paul

no, it operates a timer in the front base, once released it will pop back.
You can index timer manually with a torx driver if you take the cover off under the door, beware though as it will heat even without water.

thanks for reply.i told customer that i thought it should pop back up and not latch.they were adamant that it latched.paul
