ParticipantHi Guys
This one is driving me mad
The machine does a wash with no problems, but when it finishes the wash (before rinse etc) the display goes to 0.01 then just tumbles for a while. It then re-starts the wash again, and sometimes it will do it 2 or 3 times, then eventually finish the programe (rinse spin etc) 🙁
I have replaced the NTC & tested the heater, brushes ok, fills & empties ok also
Any Ideas would be appreciatedToni

I don’t recognise the model no? It my be a WFO2466GB/07 or a WFC2466GB/07 though I guess and sounds like a possible module problem I fear. 🙁
You’ve tested the heater you say, but not replaced it then? As it appears to show a ‘time-out error’ (i.e 0.01) it could be it isn’t heating either because the heater is duff or indeed the relay shot on the module maybe?
It’s also important to megger the motor, any resistence less that 10 meg and the same effect will apply.
HTH? 😀

Sorry should be WFO2466GB/07
No not replaced the heater yet
Also Ive read some people change the heater relay on the module, are they easily available ? where ? etc as I suspect this could be the problem, I will check the motor though
Thanks

After meggering the heater and motor first, I find in cases like this it’s best to stick it on a wash cycle,(clamp meter all hooked up), have a cup of tea, then about 10 mins into the cycle should see the current increase (about 10.5 amps) to show that the heater has come on. If it does then no need to fret over the module, but just to be certain there’s not a dicky relay connection, a smart discreet thump with fist applied to control panel as it’s heating, is a good enough test to rule out the module altogether.
