They are on Partfinder but as there are five pages it would be good if you could let me know just what area you are looking at and I could possibly do a screen dump of the correct diagram.
What is it you need?
Jim.

But they’re all obsolete anyway as far as I know. 😯

As Martin says, most parts have been obsolete for many years now. 😥
I can still send you the diagram if you want, you will have to PM me your e-mail address.

Well theres only 3 important gasgets for the gearbox, 1 , tub seal never had to change 1
2 is the top hat spring loaded counter face to the spigot and above that is the cork one thats below the nutthe top hat seal is still availble on connections at wait for it
£13 lol that will be the culprit iff its leaking i have the part number iff you need it ..phil

It IS leaking from under the tub but given the rust around the tub seal I assumed it would be this. Do you really think the top hat sprong loaded counter face is the culprit? Presumably if it is then it wouldn’t leak until the water level reaches it whereas the tub seal would leak almost immediately there was water present.
What part number do you have Phil?Chris

Seal is a 143098.
If the rust is around the drum seal then it could well be leaking from there. Although over 80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of leaks were from the seal Phil mentions it actually leaked onto the top of the gearbox, right down the centre shaft if the small top hat seal failed, it did not show on the seal under the drum.
Also if the gearbox shaft had become rusty from previous leaks it could split the Bakelite support tube down the seam.

Thanks Jim.
Although it is rusty at the seal I don’t think it has perforated the tub or breached the seal. I suspect it is the seal Phil mentioned. I’m think I might still have one of those in a box hiding!March 22, 2011 at 10:43 pm #347628Poppins

Come to think of it though it might be the one for the top loader which is a bit bigger as I recall.

They did rust through around the drum support, bear in mind it is donkeys years old. Nothing that some plastic putty couldn’t fix though.
I would say the top loader top hat seal was approx ten times the size of the twin tub one. 😀
