either HB86K58B or HB 86K70B – have’nt been yet ,customer says when m/wave setting is used that the mw only runs for 2 secs then shuts down – any ideas what might cause this?

Internal fuse blown, Caused by magnetron and invertor faulty. Or door switch if your realy lucky

magnets cracked on magetron is my lucky guess 9 times out of ten is the usual 🙂

If it cuts out after 3 seconds & the 10a pcb fuse is open circuit it is the inverter. If you are very lucky & the 10a pcb fuse is ok, then it is probably the door switches. If it cuts out after 22 seconds, its the magnetron. In short, 3 secs – inverter. 22 secs- magnetron.

Great post bosch-engineer , i probs dont see as many as you , all ways been the magnetron in my case lol as well as door switches , In all the years the inverter systom has been out
i have never had to change one suppoes ive all ways been lucky
