Went to this 5 months ago.
Original fault was: when you open and close the oven door, it clicks and the temperature resets to (180 or 150 – can’t quite remember).
I traced it to a relay on the control module (491993) and replaced the module.
    All seemed well.

Had a phone call this morning, saying that about a month after I’d been, they put it through a self-clean and the fault returned intermittently.
It got more and more frequent, until now it resets the temperature pretty much every time the door’s opened again. 😯

I’m suspecting there’s something more to it than the control module – any ideas, please?

    Thanks,
    Pigpen.

Perhaps somebody might at least have a wiring diagram or some other tech info they could let me have?
    Please?

customer of mine had a similiar problem after a self clean on a bosch oven. I have no knowledge of these ovens, but someone on this site told me a (stat/sensor) was the cause, and they had upgraded this part.
never done the job,so cant give you any more info.
    good luck

    Many thanks, Rocker.
I’ll try and find the stat/sensor.

    I found 423842 Sensor-PTC on Connect’s site.
I’m going to order one and try it.
Do you reckon that will sort it out?

Any Siemens experts out there willing to give me a clue, please?

    Cheers,
    Pigpen.
