    This machine is throwing up an E3 message.

    I can get the machine to heat if I link the wires that go to the stat on the right side (as you look from the front.)(blue & white wires.)

    There is another stat more left side / middle which is closed circuit.(pink wires.)

    Is there another thermostat or NTC anywhere inside the door?
    Whats the normal cause of action? Change the open circuit stat alone or……?

    E3 is usually caused simply by the non resettable stat going oc due to overheat, this is the one at rear right when viewed from front, ensure the element is not scorched and arms and filters are not blocked, also circ pump can sieze or capacitor fail which will also give same problem, later models also have a pressure sensor in top arm feed tube base (referred to as a “place setting” )

    Thanks for reply. I changed both stats in the end. Its been a week since I fitted and alls well, touch wood.
