    Each time the machine is switched on for use, it displays code 3 on the LED display and starts to drain the machine. Any ideas on how to correct the problem so that clean clothes can be worn once again !!

    Could you give us the model number that is written on the fascia panel?

    is it only 3 that is displayed or are there any letters taylor ?

    Surely with THAT serial number it has to be under 12 months guarantee.

    Check filter and then call Service Force 08705 929 929

    The machine is only a few months old. Telephone your local Service Force engineer which can be found on the Zanussi website.

    Error codes beginning with 3 are a pressure switch fault. This does not mean it is the pressure switch though. How does the mahine empty? Is it slow. Check filter. Could be a blockage in the pressure system. (This will drain the tub to empty at switch on)

    I think you may be reading the led wrongly? you say it reads 3 but this sounds like the same problem that I am having at the moment.
    (see Zanussi skipping program)

    I think the number 3 is not an error code but your machine is skipping all the program apart from the last 3 minutes when it drains and spins.

    The 3 being the remaining time left.
