    hi,

i have an new world twinline 3000 oven/grill

the ignition is sparking , the oven burner lights at the low rate but burner flames will not increase to full size with knob at gas mark at 5 or anywhere. the manual says after 45 seconds the f.s.d. will open and burner flames will increase to full size.
could it be thermostat or the f.s.d. ?

many thanks in advance for any suggestions.

The FSD is the most lilely, although you will need a Corgi registered engineer to confirm and fit the part for you.

To identify the FSD, there will be a model number on the cooker somewhere beginning CKG or GC as there are several Twinline 3000 versions.

    hi dave

thank you for quick reply, the model no. is CKG 21538.

the part no. is 919577900 , any idea how much this part will cost? , and would you recommend original or copy parts?

    thanks

The part is £69.88 inc VAT from Merloni.

There will be little difference in the price if this is the reason you ask, also fitting non genuine parts effectively changes the specification of the appliance rendering the manufacturers installation and use instructions void, therefore not compliant with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations set in place by Corgi and the Health Executive.

Also having a non Corgi registered engineer fit the part is in contravention of those regulations.

I have the opposite problem it appears that the oven is full on or turned right down, so set it to gas mark 5 and it’s just full on. Could this be thermostat or FSD

Take note of DC’s comments above – the work, for your own safety MUST be carried out by a CORGI engineer.
