Participanti had a look at this dishwasher and its flooding into the base from the seal in the top of the sump ,acess from inside the tub with 5 torx screws , i took out the seal cleaned it and put it back together . it worked ok for a while and then gave an F9 code which according to the machine handbook is alternative ?? , i started another programme and it pumped out the water but didnt open the inlet valve to let in the new wash water in and i heard a clicking once or twice from the r/h front of the m/c . i see the clear plastic pressure chamber on the r/h side still has some water in it also , any help much appreciated

I think you’ll find that refers to a faulty Circulating Pump IIRC?

Hi
there is a mod for this which is a s/s insert which stops the sump hose from leaking.normally due to dirty paddles causing back pressure.

had a look at same model last week.symptoms the same ie two clicks but no water ingress.felt machine not resetting when trying to change program so put 4 pints of water directly into m/c to see was it stuck mid program, m/c went straight into wash mode and finished program.cust texted to say m/c still going fine.paul

tried that too clockwork , didnt do anything for me , the sump hose didnt leak initially it was the sump gasket to the tub , im just thinking that some water ran down into the wiring and its causing the problem there is a good bit of loom and connectors under the sump area , i used a hair dryer to dry it out but didnt work , very poor acess to the sump area as usual with d/w’s gonna leave it for a day or so to dry out

Hi
F 9 relates to the alternating spray motor, this diverts the spray to top or bottom spray arms. If the sump has been removed ensure the o rings are not jamming this motor.
If you need tech info PM me your email address.
Hope this helps
