    Lamona MOD – HJA8514
    SN – 31800100 0926 0914

    The machine seems to have a mind of it’s own with regards to selecting a programe. The programe selector unit feeds the info to the PCB. It has a cam system concealed, at a guess i think the micro-switches that the cam operate are sticking/faulty.

    Has anyone experienced this before?
    I couldn’t even find Lamona on connections, please can someone advise me where i might purchase this part?

    Its a Hoover/Candy. My MFI disc has expired so cannot help on part number, try AWS http://www.awsappliancespares.co.uk

    hey, thanks for the help guys, i followed the link to AWS, they promptly advised me to call GDHA – 08448153745.

    It seems these are the one that stock Lamona parts 🙂

    Lets hope my diagnostics was correct now!

    lamona is howdens own brand, it could be sourced from anywhere, but the HJA8514 on google images looks just like the hoover/candy/diplomat stock. if you use dimplex for parts your paying for their hefty middleman charges – hth 🙂

    new selector unit fitted – machine is fixed. Thanks for the help finding the part peeps 🙂
