Hotpoint BFI 620 – No green lights from PCB

Please help – problem started when door catch broke and although it would shut, it did not snap shut. My wife tried to use the dishwasher as it would shut and start, but it quickly began to leak. I switched it off at main plug. Next day went and got a replacement catch, spring had snapped on mine, and replaced it. Whilst the door catch now works there are no green lights coming on on the left hand side from the PCB. There is power to the switch and also power to the catch and PCB. There was water in the bottom but I have done my best to drain all this out with a combination of small cups and cloths (its integral). If the flood switch has cut in would this stop the PCB working or would I be getting a warning light? I feel I have exhaused all my logic!! Help please.
