    Select a program:
    it drains
    it fills
it sits there staring at you (on rinse) or the heater kicks in (on the other selections), but the wash motor doesn’t run.

Sometimes it drains after the fill and flashes lights 1 & 3, but the filters (I’m assuming the fault code refers to the user accessible filters near the lower spray arm) are clean.

    Capacitor is fine.
    Heater is fine.
Continuity of the cables from pcb to wash motor is fine.
Wash motor works perfectly with a jump lead.
Pressure switch is working fine – I’ve cut it out and back in and it controls the water solenoid when it should do.
Over-pressure sensor switch on main wash hose is working (it has continuity at rest and OC on high pressure).

I thought it could only be the PCB, so I’ve replaced that, but the fault is still there. :haier:

Any help or info gratefully accepted, please.

    Many thanks,
    Pigpen.

    Thanks, HotDog.

I haven’t stripped the wiring out to check it, but I have checked the continuity of the wiring from the pcb to the wash motor.

But I suppose that it could still give me good continuity with only a few strands intact, so I’ll slave another cable in and see if that makes any difference.

    Cheers,
    Pigpen

    Many thanks, HotDog,
It was indeed a wire broken in the door harness.
    Cheers,
    Pigpen.
