Hi Guys
The above tumble dryer seems to spend quite along time on the reverse tumble (so not heating). Does anyone know how long it should spend reverse tumbling before it switches back? and if it is sticking is it controlled by the timer?
The element and 3 stats are fine, Just seems to spend far too long blowing cold air, It all most seems to send 240V to the element only now and then in.

The long heat tumble/short reverse,no heat tumble is on the condensor dryers, this is due to the type of fans used.
Most, if not all vented dryers tumble for the same time in both directions with the heater on all the time.
May be a faulty timer, try tapping the timer to see if it has dodgy internal contacts.
Part number of timer is C00208093.
