KeymasterHi
I am after two parts for my Zanussi DE6965 DW. The parts I need are the filter which fits at the bottom of the Dishwasher and also the metal plate which slots into the bottom above the filter.
MY Dishwasher is not cleaning very well at all and hopefully replacing these parts (they are both broken anyway) will resolve the problems.

ParticipantDavid,
If the filters have actually broken, the rotors will almost certainly be partially choked, especially at the tips. Strip and clean.Dave Conway will able to sort your parts out on Monday.

that will be good.
I am not sure its the parts fault its not cleaning very well. The dishes and cups seems to come out dirtier then before they went in. They seem to collect bits in them. Both arms seem to rotate freely. However sometimes the soap tablet has not disolved (serviceforce coming to replace the dispenser next week)
The small round filter mesh is very flimsy and is breaking. Also the metal plate as I have described should have a small white water sprayer, howver this has broken off.

KeymasterDavid, what sort of deposits are you getting left?
If you can mail me a photo of it I will probably be able to tell you what it is and the possible cures.

ParticipantDavid, the rotors always turn freely when you push them round – check the jets at the end! They turn the rotors by water pressure and also sweep the soap/table out of the dispenser.

Reading the original post again, which part are you desribing as “metal plate” ?
The only metal part is the spray arm itself or the main filter which is circular and fits right at the bottom.

its not the spray arm itself, its the part which fits below the arm but above the filter.

Now you’re confusing me 😕
The only thing metal below the spray arm is the main filter which is circular and stainless steel. Inside that fits a smaller plastic part with a handle on which can be lifted out for cleaning.
Maybe take a piccy of the bits you’re after and email them to me ?

OK, I know which part you mean now.
The main filter comes with the fine filter below it, they are all one piece.
That part is £32.92 inc VAT and postage.
If you need one ordered, let me know by email and I’ll let you have further details.
Dave.
