    Hi
    Called to the above dishwasher today as customer said refused to start, turned machine on closed door and nothing happened.
    Reset onto rinse cycle and machine started normally, reset machine to wash cycle and machine washed + heated OK.
    Reset again onto rinse cycle and nothing and now refuses to work at all. cycles thru lights as program button pushed – checked door switches – just a thought should both switches be in the closed position when door closed? + no error codes.

    Any help or info would be appreciated

    check for leaks in the base, a slightly earthed circ pump can show this fault.

    Called back to this today and checked motor – that was OK machine ran ok on cool wash then wouldn’t start again checked and found that the diverter valve had a slight leak and earthed out. problem solved I hope.

    common fault, usually gives an E8 error. Not sure of your model number there. You did change the valve, right?

    No not yet – machine refused to do anything so disconnected valve and ran test on rinse, that was OK but when put on wash it came up with the error but at least it will now do more than it did and have ordered new valve
