    Hi there,
I have a Firenzi DW 928WH (which I understand is made by whirlpool). I’ve seen this posted a few times but this seems to be slightly different. There are 2 lights on the front, the left hand one stays on as it should but the right hand one flashes as if to display an error code but there is no repetition, just constant flashing.

I fiddled with the controls last night and today it just flashes, I fear there may simply be a loose wire in the plastic housing but before I open it up I’d like to get some advice from you guys.

    The service code is 854592815010.

    Thanks for any help =)

    Re: Fault Code

There should be a sequence to the flashes, that’s the error code. It should flash, pause, then flash again and if you count the flashes you get the error code.

    Re: Fault Code

There is no repetition in the flashing, unless i’m being impatient and should carry on counting past 50?

    Re: Fault Code

That’s a bit odd. What is the light that’s flashing labelled as?

It’s just the “start” light, next to the pilot light, which holds steady. Any ideas? Is there such a thing as a general fault code?

    Re: Fault Code

    Okay, that’s very odd.

You should get, according to all the tech info, a series of flashes, a one second pause, then it repeats. The number of flashes gives the error code, which is between one and thirteen flashes.

There’s not a thing about a continual flashing so goodness only knows what it’s trying to tell you.

    Re: Fault Code

Ok, well thanx for your help anyway. But assuming the reason I think it’s continuous is because it’s 1 flash repeating, what fault code would that be?

Also, is there any common fault that could stop the dishwasher working if it was opened mid-cycle?

On those machines, not that I’m aware of.
