can any one help. have a cust, with a slimline zanussi zdt5052 dishwasher. when put on programme it pumps out then 50degree light flashes. i cleared blue pressuse tubes in base of machine and reset pressure switch by removing then refitting hose. it now fills starts washing, wash motor then stops, then fill some more then stops with humming sound, wash motor not running again..but wash motor not blocked…but wont wash….havnt worked on this type of machine for a while,, can anyone help..could it be pressure switch..water seems to go about 1 inch up pressuse hose each time…cheers

The humming is probably the inlet valve locking out due to overfill protection cutting in. when you removed and cleaned the blue tubes did you also clear the sump where they fit ?.
I always remove the top basket and with the aid of a long clear plastic tube & torch suck any muck into the tube being careful not to get it all the way into your mouth – reset valve and test. No water should be visable in the pressure switch hose
Also when you removed tubes from pressure switch, you didn’t reverse them as i’ve seen that before.Colin
