Just change both the pcb and motor.

I had this on one a few months back changed motor and pcb to no avail. What i did notice though was a water mark from the bearings and down onto the motor. so was an exchange in the end.The only thing i could think was wiring harness? 😐

Oi, you get paid to fix them, not write them off ’cause you can’t work it out. You’re supposed to be able to diagnose and repair them, not just give up when the going gets a bit rough.
Just saying, don’t expect an exchange just because you can’t figure it out. Some people just think you’re inadequate if you can’t work it out.
And, just for your information, less than 30{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of all PCBs we get back have a real fault on them. What does that tell you? More importantly, what does that say to the people that are paying you?
Think about that before you speak. 😉
What three lights, what’s the fault code? Is that all that’s on the machine? Have you looked up the info on the tech stuff?

No no you totally miss understood what i meant. I’m not saying just wright it off!! I’m saying it to try and help maybe what i observed may help it could be something silly like water on the wiring harness or something.Believe me i am the last person to wright a machine off. I went back and forth to that job 3/4 times (30 odd miles away) with different parts , motor and pcb’s x2 .The original fault was it was dead as a dodo, typical fault so replaced Pcb, but all it would do then was go up straight into a spin ,acting like the taco on the motor was gone.So sent for motor, motor came fitted it still same, assumed the original motor had damaged new pcb, ordered new pcb, fitted same thing .Then when that didn’t work i looked rally hard (there is no removable back panel so couldn’t see very well) there was water mark down the back from the barings and onto the motor. Believe me i tried my best with that machine and it really bugs me that i never found the fault.Because in the end it would of been new motor , new pcb, new drum, new…… wiring harness??!!plus the time the machine was out of action, so in the end i decided best thing was an exchange.Call me a bad engineer if you like but i believe it was the correct decision in the end .It is a very strange fault that in the end beat me and In all fairness its the only thing i’ve ever written off for Amica.

I wasn’t getting at the particular scenario, I was relaying the way it can look to the paymasters. 😉

Have you tested the Heater, insulation problem also can cause weird board faults.
Also check the connections on motor plug!Last one i had was a loose tacho!
I take it you have also checked the dispenser hose for leaks onto motor quite common?

Also I’ve found that as well as dispenser hose the pressure chamber at the front can sometimes leak and fill the base with waterm, causing problems with damp inside machine & associated PCB/motor problems. I always whip it off and Debor in place now on all machines because I don’t want any recalls :).
