    i have a basic Parkinson Cowan gas cooker When the grill is on high i get a howling noise it goes away when i turn the gas down . What are the causes and can it be sorted thanks

    You’ll always get some noise from a gas burner and there’s not a lot that can be done about it I’m afraid.

    The noise can only be produced by the burner naturally, I can’t think of anything you can do to affect it.

    thanks for the answer Just it hasnt done it for 5 years and now it starts

    Clean the grill burner then, it’s probably just a build up of carbon on it.

    A toothbrush is a good tool for such things. 😉

    Thats seems a good place to start i will give it a go in the morning Oh! i reckon using the wifes toothbrush would be best
