    I have a Creda Europa Solarplus double oven. Unfortunately, can’t find a model number. I think it is the E420E.

    The oven light is working. The fan in the main oven is not working and it will not heat up. The smaller top oven will heat up and there is airflow from this.

    I replaced the element a couple of years ago.

    Can you please advise what might need replacing and where I can obtain the part.

    I have identified the problem. One of the “rivets” has popped out of a door hinge and the oven door wasn’t quite closing properly. This oven has a safety device that disconnects the heating element and oven fan when the door is open.

    Can’t replace the rivet though as the I can’t get the holes in the hinge to match up. 🙁

    vice, drift, & hammer should sort out a loose rivet, unless the collars dissapeared. 🙁

    otherwise its new hinge time, might well be worth doing as its probably over ten years old now. theres a fair chance its lost some of its springyness by now
