    Hello,

    This is my first time using this forum. I have a problem with my Bosch SGS5312gb/12 Dishwasher. Opened it to find bottom filled with water. Have taken out and cleaned filters, ladled out all water and hoovered out and debris / food remnants. Have also undone torx screws to white drain assembly in base of dishwasher but it won’t release. Before I turn the machine upside down and dismantle, I thought that I had better get some advice! When I attempt to start program “_” indicator comes up and nothing happens.

    Anyone out there willing to help, I would very much appreciate it.

    torx screw inside dishwasher just relases small cover over pump

    click bosch spare parts put your e number in click go when you get to breakdowns go to page4

    screw you took out should be 167241 and cover 165263

    if this is correct with cover off you can see impellor get rid of all the water and dig around to see whats jamming it

    DO NOT TURN UPSIDE DOWN !!
    you will destroy it with water going everywhere

    Many thanks for your reply and the very useful link to Bosch spare parts and appliance diagrams. Yesterday, I got as far as removing the screw and cover to expose the impellor. I hoovered out any crud and this morning I double-checked to see that the impellor spun freely. It seems OK but when I put everything back together and switch machine on, it still comes up with “_” on the display and nothing happens.

    I’m sure that you have got better things to do with your Sunday but any help would be greatly appreciated.

    look at buttons on front

    you should see the word “reset” under them with a line that sops under 2 of the buttons
    press those 2 buttons and see if it resets apart from that have no ideas normally with whan faults occur it comes up with a fault code

    The reset has corrected it and the machine is back to normal.
