been out to this hpt customer reported f01 error which is shorted motor triac. i have measured windings on motor and all windins measure 6ohms. it looks like one of these 3 phase motors. has anyone come across these and can tell me why there is a balck wire running from case of motor back to suppressor??

the black wire is a 100kohms earth return via the suppresor as its not a direct earth its not coloured green/yellow.

It is important to ensure a phased earth return path is directly linked between the motor ground and the 3 phase mains filter otherwise the motor whilst rotating without power can act as a generator….! 😯
