Hi as title the dishwasher fills and emptys o.k it will keep washing and not finish. (I assume this is because it hasnt reached temperature)

I metered the element and I get around 26 ohms. I have checked the control board and it had blackening on two pins which I presume is the heater relay. I cleaned these up and resoldered them as well as the rest.

The problem is still the same. Im getting no voltage from the wire that goes from the board to one side of the heater. although i do get a slight reading from the wire for a split second and i hear a click before and after this. (during certain parts of the cycle)

Does this sound like i need a new control board ?

Thanks for reading and all help very much apreciated.

Could be, though you’ve got the model number wrong (and there are 50 odd variants starting SGS43…..) so it’s hard to talk specifics. However in most cases it’s either the Module or the Heater itself. From what you say so far in your case, I’d say the former likely as not… 🙁
