Well Kesa has undated it’s May 3rd report and is set to close 12 of it’s 14 service centres in an attempt to cut costs after a dire spate of trading.
The chain posted a 15{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} fall in underlying sales earlier this month (see front page news) and will shut one of Comet’s three warehouses as well as the centres, used as bases by engineers who repair and service products. It is also thought that up to 100 jobs are at risk. 🙁
