    Does anyone know of a good method for cleaning out the air chamber on these old Zanussi’s ❓

    The only way is to remove the manifold and clear with hose – Do yourself a favor replace the complete manifold Pt No. 1240140614 – about £20-00 +

    Cheers for the reply cris, I did cross my mind to replace it, I was just hoping someone might have a method for cleaning them without taking it off.Wishful thinking me thinks :rolls:

    I use my trusty Bosch Syringe (Part No: 340007). 💡

    Simply remove each air hose from the air chamber and blast a syringe full of hot water into the chamber. Repeat this process several times until it flows clear. Also if you remove the sump hose from the drain manifold, it is possible to flush clear the large pieces of limescale/detritus. And finally, remove and clean the small tub vent hose attached to the manifold.
