Neff dishwasher S4409N1GB/03 gave a message today that read “FUNCTIONAL-TEST”. Pressing + and – on the control panel revealed other options including “FACTORY HV TEST” and others I can’t recall. Powering the machine off and back on made this section of the menu go away and it hasn’t reappeared. Can anyone advise if this is an indication of a potential error developing?
My assumption is that this menu item is either an engineer-only selection or one that should appear once only before shipping the unit and never be seen by the end user. Hence my worry that a fault may be developing.

Nothing to be concerned over and you must have at some point accidentally accessed into the TEST MODE and by turning the machine off has indeed cleared that access facility.
