Loosing my temper with this one, even the cats gone into hiding
Stoves cooker E2H600 main oven stat 46THC16/HO which is a switch and a stat circuit, both seperate.
Connect say it’s been superceeded by Stoves to part no EGO 55.13059.160, load of tosh. When one arrived it has only the stat circuit no switch. I contacted Connect who assured me it was the right type and if I did not know how to wire it up then I should contact “Martin” at “Repaircare” 👿
I decided that the idiot at Connect is a waste of space and no help so I rang Stoves who gave me part no. 082227300 which is an EGO 55.18062.050 Went back onto the connect site and put this new no. into search. Came up with a different type + an equivalant listed under BEKO for £10. Ordered the Beko only to find when it arrived it is not a EGO and still only has the stat circuit. no switch 😈 Where’s Alf Huckem when you need him?
Anyone know if the Genuine EGO 55.18062.050 has the double circuit that the 46THC has, or any advice on what is required to sort this mess out? I will ring Stoves in the morning and discus it further with them. Connect will also be receiving a call 😈
