hi everyone,been out to this servis m6852 with reports of tripping the rcd after approx 10 seconds of turning on.checked for shorts and rubbed wires,everything seemed ok,all i could find was slight burning marks where the main plug pushes on to the pcb,the plug itself seemed ok,anyone had simular problems.

Very common for those pcbs with the multi-plug along one side to burn at the plug. You, or rather the sensitive trip, have just got there early with this one! Cut the burnt area of the plug away and replace with individual fully insulated amp tags. That might do the trick. If it doesn’t, you could send the board to EMW for test/repair.
