ParticipantHi
I received an e-mail from the above company today, looking for service agents in my area for multi-brand insurance work.
It is from a Mr Paul Feek giving me a phone number to discuss labour rates & post code etc
Has anyone heard of them/ him?. Any info would be very welcome.Regards

KeymasterYep they are known Toni to a few of us. Some seem okay with them, others not mostly the latter from what I’ve heard. 😕
The last I heard the rates on offer they were very poor as well.
Can’t tell you any more as I’ve never worked for JTM.

Hi Toni – We had a call some few weeks ago asking us to help them out. However, we also had experience of working with them a couple of years ago, which resulted in us binning them because of lack of support and bad payment. They may have sorted themselves out and we have done a couple of jobs this time so havent decided yet what to think. What may turn out though, is that you find they are short of a skill-set in your area and you may end up doing work that they cannot get done by their existing engineers. A Ken stated, they pay at the lower end of the scale and some of the brands are abit obscure. Might be worth a try as a filler-in. Cheers – Mat

Not only Paul Feek, but Andy Craw who was once the Service Director of ISDA. Before Richard Dalley.
We done a little bit of work in the past, poor product, little tech no-how and slow in paying; plus they wanted a share of any chargeable work, £10 per call. We only had 2, 1 never paid and the other cancelled, JTM still expected their slice of the cake though. So I binned them.
Bit of a coloured history I seem to recall. There is a previous thread relating to JTM somewhere in this lot, but you will have to hunt for it.

ParticipantJTM were based in Leeds and held agencies for Candy and Miele Commercial a few years back. Haven’t heard from then for a while, though the unit is still there in Stanningley as I go by. John was the local DASA man then, but I didn’t join.

Wrong JTM penquin, your John Middleton is OK and was a Dasa member for some time in the past. JTM contracts are a pair from Dinnington in South Yorkshire and there are a few who have had experiences with them.
Enough said really….
