I stopped using Masterpart after I had problems with their carrier. I had a letter from them “Come back to Masterpart with a 15{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} discount”
So I placed an order on Monday, this morning I got an email from them saying they needed my payment details and the parts had not been sent.
As far as I knew they have had my card details for the last 17 years.
Anyway after being put through to accounts I was informed they no longer have my details and I’m a late payer! :eeek:
I did try to explain that my late payment was due to them not using the card details they had on file and I was unaware that their rules had changed about holding card details. Since nobody had been in touch to tell me of their changes.
Now apparently I have to phone them after I place every internet order to give them payment details.
I can’t get credit with them because I’m a late payer.
Their accounts person informed me they will review this in a few months, if I’m a good boy 😕 . Well thanks for that! Since it was not my fault they no longer hold my details and did not bother to tell me about it.
I don’t think I’ll be placing any more orders with them after being treated like this after 17 years as a customer.
