OK I know it is a Sunday morning……… but I have an AEG Santo 3274-KG fridgefreezer- 14 months old. Overnight the fridge compartment has warmed up to 12 degrees and climbing, but the freezer is fine at the mo…..All sounds suspiciously quiet, no compressor running. Does this model have separate compressors for fridge and freezer- can’t find any info on AEG site?
Went shopping yesterday-fridge currently very full- Help!
Cheers,
Mel
Mel,
Looks like that is a twin compressor fridge freezer so in theory at least your freezer should be ok if there is only a fridge compressor or control problem. The bad news is that it has electronic control so there will be no easy answer and it may also affect the freezer in time. I think you need an engineer out to it. If you you dont hear the freezer start up then try switching the fast freeze on. oh, and dont keep opening the door to see if the stuff is still frozen!
I would recommend contacting the aeg service number given its age, they may well do it as a concession as its only just out of its (presumably) 12 month warranty.
freezer still fine and running as usual. Fridge temp on outside 12 degrees and silent, but have put a thermometer inside (as it felt cold) and it is reading constant 4 degrees, so now I’m confused…..
