looking for some advice ref this dishwasher. I have lamps 2 and 4 illuminated after any wash cycle. Cycle is restricted to about 5 Minutes before error occurs. From previous posts this indicates a heater fault however when I open the door it’s steaming hot. Are there any other possibilities?

The bottom line is that these machines are of very poor quality, the heaters and control PCB’s are both common causes of this fault.

It could be the heater breaking down under load or the PCB failing.

A full electrical test of the heating element for continuity, resistance and above all insulation should be the first step.

All with the mains plug removed of course.

Thanks for the reply. I think it was the heater breaking down as the main breaker tripped later. Did a resistance check of the heater and it was open circuit so ordered a new heater.

    Thanks for the help.
